Can you cite any class discussion moments as particularly influential for your writing? If so, what was your role in these class discussions? For example, were you an active participant? A question-poser? A responder? A listener?

I am a strong believer in full participation in class sessions.  It has always just make sense to me to utilize the peers and instructor that I have in class as a source.  Sure, it is very important to take notes and listen in class, but without voicing your questions or thoughts, you are not going to get the most out of your class.  The instructor can only do so much to help provide a productive workspace without the aide of student’s thoughts, concerns, and questions.  I say you’re only cheating yourself without getting involved!
