I feel like what influenced my research choices the most was my comfort level with each of my interview subjects. I know my high school coach very well, and I had no problem contacting him because I knew he would not have a problem with me. He is a very intelligent man with a whole lot of background in the sports world, so I knew right away that he would be my best option to start with.
